The world has erupted into chaos and madness. The Apocalypse has raged on for years; fires burning everything in its path. The sun has grown old and the light it gives grows weaker every day.What was once a planet of green, growing life and happiness has now become dark and frightening. Danger lurks around every corner, and in order to avoid certain death humans must do things they never dreamed of doing.
When it started, it was hardly noticed. Good people started dying for no reason, simple and painless deaths. Churches of various religions started saying it was a 'reckoning' and that we should all prepare for the ascension into Heaven. When time went on and people started getting nervous, the churches turned against each other. First hateful words and then violent acts, the world started to crumble under the lack of faith.
The world was in utter chaos. Everybody turned against each other, buildings went up in smoke, the government crumbled under the disorder. With no rules or laws, everything we know fell apart. Demons saw the pandemonium on Earth and joined the remains of the human race. Taking over, they created a world of evil; where deceitfulness was first nature and acts of kindness were punishable by torture and death.
Demons enslaved the human race, forcing them to do as they please. Freewill no longer exists for the human race. Men and women hide under the cities and in the mountains, desperate to avoid being captured.
The Gods saw this and were furious. Angels were sent to the Earth in disguise. It's the Earth's last hope of returning to a world worth saving.
